Walt inspires teams and individuals to engage in the process of shaping their organization's culture. His specialty is working with intact work groups to generate insights into the behaviors needed to create a healthy, high-performance work environment. Walt coaches executives and internal change leaders to help them use corporate culture as a tool to achieve better results.

Since joining Senn Delaney, Walt has worked with a number of clients including Bayer, London Electricity, British Gas/Transco, Limited Brands, PG&E, Reckitt Benckiser, Nynex, USAA and Morgan Chase.

Prior to joining Senn Delaney, Walt spent 34 years at New York Life Insurance Company, starting as an agent in the company's Milwaukee general office and retiring as senior vice president with responsibility for the office of general counsel, the corporate issues group, corporate quality, human resources and employees' health department. Under the direction of Chairmen Don Ross and Harry Hohn, Walt led the internal culture-change initiative to make New York Life the premier financial services institution of the United States. Walt graduated from Colgate University.

Walt maintains residence in Bedford, New York with his wife, June. They find balance in their lives on an island in Burntside Lake in Ely, Minnesota, spending time together with their three children, their spouses, and seven grandchildren. Walt and June also enjoy the opera, foreign travel, golf, and skiing.
