Penny Madden

Strategic Consultant

Penny Madden is a strategic consultant at Senn Delaney. She previously served as vice president of business development, leading a team of dedicated business development and marketing professionals to bring Senn Delaney's culture-shaping expertise to help new and existing clients achieve their business goals. With her team, she expanded Senn Delaney's global growth, brand awareness and impact through marketing, conferences, sales meetings, customized solution proposals and contracts. 


As a source of deep knowledge of industry trends and challenges facing senior executive leaders, Penny serves as an important liaison for Senn Delaney's consultants and partners to ensure that solutions are customized to each client's need.

Among the clients she has worked with at the senior executive level are DTE, Nationwide, Hewlett Packard, Limited Brands, Novartis, Electronic Arts, WellPoint, USAA, UnitedHealthgroup and GlaxoSmithKline.

Penny brings to her work with clients an expertise developed over 20 years in the consulting and training field. She is equally qualified in sales, design and presentation, and has experience selling and delivering consulting, seminars and sales presentations throughout the United States.

As the director of training for a national seminar company, she presented programs to groups ranging from six to 300 participants and has also led administrative and sales functions. She next served as vice-president and general manager for a provider of training products and services. In that role, Penny led the teams responsible for product development, administration, sales and marketing. She directed all major accounts and led product certification seminars for human resources professionals from Fortune 500 companies.

Penny earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California Los Angeles. After college, she operated art galleries in Los Angeles and Bellingham, Washington, before discovering the training and consulting field. She also has served on the boards of two non-profit organizations.
