Mike Spangler's professional experience in leading and directing transformations in organizations, teams and individuals allows him to offer a broad scope of support to client culture-shaping engagements. Since joining Senn Delaney in 1990, Mike has led a variety of cultural transformation engagements at electric utilities and nuclear power plants, including Ameren, Callaway Nuclear Plant, PG&E, Florida Power & Light, Metropolitan Edison Company, New York State Electric & Gas, First Energy, Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant, Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Southern Nuclear-Vogtle Plant and Wisconsin Energy Corporation. He also directed projects with Recycle America Alliance, Boeing Defense Systems, Bank One, and Nationwide Insurance.
Prior to joining Senn Delaney, Mike was the investor relations and public relations manager for a $2-billion British defense electronics and communications company. During Mike's tenure, he assisted in growing the company through a number of foreign acquisitions, gaining valuable first-hand experience aligning cultures to develop competitiveness in international markets. Mike's career has included other diverse positions as manager of financial analysis at General Electric Company (USA) and seven years as a nuclear power plant operator on board a US Navy nuclear submarine.
Mike has also co-authored and published a leadership article entitled Union and Management: Seeking the Common Ground for the Common Good (1994). Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in business at Franklin & Marshall College. He lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
