Michael Williams

Business Development Director

   Michael Williams brings more than 15 years of international executive experience and a deep understanding of global cultures and business to his role as a business development director at culture-shaping firm Senn Delaney, a Heidrick & Struggles company.

 

Michael is the business development practice lead in the industrial and financial services practices. Within industrial, he works with clients in energy, manufacturing, natural resources, and transportation & logistics sectors. In the financial services practice, he works with clients in several sectors, including asset management, commercial banking, consumer finance and financial technology.

 

Prior to joining Senn Delaney, Michael was an international sales and business development executive who facilitated business transactions globally in Switzerland, France, Brazil, China, and Canada. As director of M&A for a boutique energy advisory firm, he divided his time between United States and China.

 

Previously, Michael held decision-making roles in Fortune 500 companies across many industries with a primary focus on bioscience, chemical, food & beverage, and financial industries. He has worked and lived in all major U.S. financial hubs, including New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

 

A results-driven strategist, Michael provides expert relationship management and strategic guidance to clients. He builds trust through a demonstrated ability to optimize performance and achieve desired results, and has a passion for professional and personal development to continue to bring the highest value to clients.

 

Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

He lives in Marina Del Rey, CA, and enjoys staying active, river rafting, coaching, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
