Martin Quinn

Senior Consultant

Martin Quinn joined culture-shaping firm Senn Delaney, a Heidrick & Struggles company, in 2015 as a senior consultant based in the UK. He brings more than 30 years of operational and leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry to his role helping clients transform their cultures.

 

Prior to joining Senn Delaney, Martin served in a number of leadership roles at pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline. His most recent role was helping embed and sustain an ‘excellent quality culture’ at GSK sites. During Martin’s career at the company, he also had leadership roles in operations, quality, technical, operational excellence, and program management.

 

Martin has a solid belief that achieving a healthy, high-performance culture is critical to achieving personal and business success, and he has a passion for helping people at all levels to be the best that they can be.

 

He has strong experience guiding teams to create an agile culture of compliance, continuous improvement, collaboration and trust. In 2004, he first experienced the Senn Delaney culture-shaping process as a participant, and immediately recognized that the process and principles significantly improve personal and business results. He became a certified facilitator and then a master coach in the Senn Delaney process. He served as an in-house culture change leader, where he engaged many teams across GSK in the organization’s ‘Leadership Edge’ culture-shaping program.

 

Martin holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Aston in Birmingham, UK.

 

He lives on the south coast with his wife, and they enjoy spending time with their two grown children. Martin enjoys playing all sports and regularly runs, cycles and plays squash. Other interests include current affairs, cooking, night sky gazing, and gardening, particularly growing fruit and vegetables.
