Joanne's personal experience leading organizations through transformational change gives her a deep understanding of how to engage, involve and gain commitment to the change at all levels in the organization. She recognizes that organizations that pay as much attention to the human element of change as they do to the processes, systems and structures will achieve better results.

After 25 years in the telecommunications industry, Joanne came to Senn Delaney to devote her energy and expertise improving the spirit and performance of organizations. Joanne's extensive executive-level experience in leading sales, call centers, operations, labor relations and other staff organizations through change give her a unique sense of how to get results through people. At Senn Delaney, she specializes in working with consultants and clients alike. Joanne actively works within the Senn Delaney organization launching new products, introducing new competencies and supporting account strategy. She is also involved in measuring and analyzing data in support of all client engagements to help determine how their culture is shifting and identifying the “Blue Chips” that will help them achieve success. Joanne has worked with Senn Delaney clients including T-Mobile, Compaq, McDonalds, Payless ShoeSource, Ford Motor Credit, Toys “R” Us and Sabre Systems.

Prior to joining Senn Delaney, Joanne's experience included a broad range of leadership roles at Pacific Bell. While at Pacific Bell, Joanne was the head of labor relations and the chief negotiator. In that role, Joanne created a collaborative relationship with the union resulting in unprecedented agreements. Joanne also merged two operations organizations into one organization statewide. With her leadership, the culture shifted from command, control and compliance to one that engaged and involved employees in decisions that affected them.

Joanne received a Bachelor of Science in economics at the University of San Francisco. She has also completed the general management program at Harvard Business School. Joanne and her husband Steve reside in California. In their spare time, Joanne enjoys weightlifting, riding motorcycles, sailing, traveling and playing with her grandchildren.
