Christine Scott

Senior Consultant

 Christine Scott joined culture-shaping firm Senn Delaney, a Heidrick & Struggles company, in 2014 as a senior consultant based in the UK. She brings a wealth of project management and leadership experience and expertise in facilitating cult ure change programs. 


Prior to joining Senn Delaney, Christine provided project management consulting and interim management to the bio-pharmaceutical and voluntary sectors.

 

She previously served as director of Program Management at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics. As a member of the Site Executive Team, she was project lead and an accredited facilitator for the cultural change program at the Novartis Liverpool site.


During her 10 years at Novartis, Christine also developed, implemented and managed best practice portfolio and project management at the Novartis Liverpool site and globally in the technology development function. She also led Liverpool site’s implementation of a global SAP enhancement project to provide a simple, consistent supply chain process, led the negotiation and introduction of annualized hours to provide more cost-effective, flexible means of resourcing, and directed a multi-functional team to design, build and validate a new primary manufacturing facility.

 

Prior to Novartis, Christine served 19 years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility with the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, including leading the provision of IT systems to support global development and commercial functions and leading the global development program of various cancer drugs.

 

In her early career, Christine gained experience in the manufacturing industry at Jaguar Cars and in commercial retail at a leading UK mail-order company.

 

Christine holds a Master of Science degree in business and management studies, and a Bachelor of Science in geography. She also holds the APMG Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner and Change Management Practitioner qualifications. She is an executive member of the Pharmaceutical Industry Project Management Group.

 

Christine lives in Cheshire, UK with her husband Geoffrey. They have three grown children and two black Labradors. Christine enjoys outdoor pursuits, including long walks with family and dogs, and is actively involved in scouting and supporting her local church.
